Three people have died in separate car crashes across Victoria.
A man died after his four wheel drive collided with another on the Midland Highway at Mount Rowan, north of Ballarat, about 6.30pm (AEST) on Saturday, police said.
The man died at the scene, while the driver of the second car received minor injuries.
Earlier, a 60-year-old woman died after her car veered into the path of a truck at an on-ramp to the Princes Highway at Point Cook, in Melbourne’s south-west, about 9am.
A young man also died after his car left the road and struck a tree on the Goulburn Valley Highway near Yea just before 5am, police said.
The state’s road toll stands at 159, compared to 180 at the same time last year.
