PORTLAND, Tenn. – You’re probably used to seeing TSA’s signature blue uniforms at the airport, but now agents are hitting the interstates to fight terrorism with Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR).
“Where is a terrorist more apt to be found? Not these days on an airplane more likely on the interstate,” said Tennessee Department of Safety Homeland Security Commissioner Bill Gibbons.
Tuesday Tennessee was first to deploy VIPR simultaneously at five weigh stations and two bus stations across the state.
Agents are recruiting truck drivers, like Rudy Gonzales, into the First Observer Highway Security Program to say something if they see something.

I have a CDL and use to drive rigs and I can tell you truckers are already irritated with the scale houses trying to issue tickets for revenue purposes and trust me tickets in a commercial vehicle semi are extreme, now they want to pull this BS on top of the harassment truckers already get these days.
What in the hell are these people doing?! There not going to find a terrorist driving a rig or hiding in the sleeper or inside the trailer, and truckers ALREADY watch out for things. We communicated about anything odd we saw and informed each other. It ALREADY works that way for decades and decades.

So isn’t anybody going to post boycott the airlines? Don’t fly? Told you it was going out onto the interstates. They also mentioned two bus stations. There is no escape from these people. Sporting events, train stations. What about that program for rural America mentioned a few months ago? Soon every city block will have it’s resident snitch. It’s beginning to look like they have no intention of allowing anyone in this country to live their lives without interference. I sure miss the cold war. At least back then, they had to pretend we were a free people.

The TSA is not the sheriff of any county inside the USA. The sheriffs dept of each county in every state is the supreme law enforcement officer for that county……….not the fucking TSA.
Let the TSA pull some one over who is armed, knows the law, and isnt about to take any shit from them and lets see what happens next.
