Opposition calls for rethink on CCTV scale back

The British government has today suggested that it is working with the intelligence agencies on a way of shutting down at will social media websites including Twitter, claiming that they were used by looters to organise and avoid police during the riots in London and elsewhere in the UK.

“Free flow of information can be used for good. But it can also be used for ill.” Prime Minister David Cameron said during today’s emergency meeting of Parliament.

“Everyone watching these horrific actions will be struck by how they were organised via social media.” Cameron said.

“We are working with the police, the intelligence services and industry to look at whether it would be right to stop people communicating via these websites and services when we know they are plotting violence, disorder and criminality.” The Prime Minister added, without going into detail concerning how a block on such services would be applied.

During later questions to the Prime Minister, he suggested that government was considering whether it was feasible “to give the police the technology to trace people on Twitter or BBM or close it down”.

Cameron also announced that the home secretary will meet with representatives of Facebook, Twitter, and BlackBerry concerning the “responsibility” those companies have in preventing incitements to violence.

Although the notion that social media was used as a tool by rioters has been repeated ad infinitum by the media this week, the evidence to back up the claim is hard to find.

In the absence of such evidence, the government has suggested that misinformation and untruths spread on Twitter also constituted cause to consider a kill switch option.

Police have suggested that BlackBerry’s closed network Messenger service was used heavily by looters, with sources within the company having already revealed that Blackberry is “engaged with the authorities to assist in any way we can”.

Government eavesdroppers at the super secret Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) are reportedly working to provide police with information on the suspected rioters gleaned from messages they sent over the network.

Messages sent over BBM are encrypted and thought to be virtually untraceable, yet it is possible that government decoders working with the company itself could unearth chat logs, GPS locations, customer information, as well as direct access to people’s BlackBerry Messengers.

A number of people have already appeared in court charged with using Facebook to incite rioting, others have been arrested for allegedly using Twitter to encourage looting and violence.

Twitter itself has refused to close down accounts that police claim belong to suspected rioters. The company said that it felt information should “continue to flow” and that securing “freedom of expression” was essential.

A spokesperson for the company has said that the following statement, issued earlier in the year, covers the stance of the company with regards to the recent events in the UK:

“Our goal is to instantly connect people everywhere to what is most meaningful to them. For this to happen, freedom of expression is essential.”

“Some tweets may facilitate positive change in a repressed country, some make us laugh, some make us think, some downright anger a vast majority of users. We don’t always agree with the things people choose to tweet, but we keep the information flowing irrespective of any view we may have about the content.”

Beyond the issue of social networks, Cameron revealed that police have already been given powers to use water cannon and plastic bullets on any suspected rioters or looters, should they deem it necessary.

The government will also give the police powers to demand people remove face masks and balaclava’s.

The Prime Minister also admitted that he had held discussions with senior security officials concerning the potential use of the military on the streets in conjunction with a curfew.

“It is my responsibility to make sure that every contingency is looked at — including whether there are tasks that the army could undertake that would free up more police for the front line,” Cameron said.

He stated that the role the army would play would be “some simple guarding tasks”, adding that such a deployment is “not for today, it is not even for tomorrow, it is just so you have contingency plans in case it becomes necessary.”

“On dealing with crowds, we are also looking at the use of existing dispersal powers and whether any wider power of curfew is necessary,” he said.

Ed Miliband, the leader of the opposition Labour Party called for a rethink on the coalition Government’s proposals to scale back the use of CCTV under its “civil liberties drive” pledge.

Instead of the PMs calling an emergency meeting on Tuesday or Wednesday it was held on Thursday the 11/08/11, exactly a month before the 10th anniversary of 9/11. What about some of the “media” who Alex reported were paying youths to join in.

It is happening already. There are reports in Usenet, that the popular music service Spotify is being blocked in Britain, becuase it can apparently be used as a “means to plan and communicate”. So sites are being blocked in Britain.

How long until Britain orders Alex Jones to be blocked. Just in case they do, you should get a subscription VPN service, to continue to be able to access Infowars. Since they tend to frown on postinig URLs in comments, I cannot post any URLS, but the VPN serivce I use is Perfect Privacy, you cna find it in Google. They have servers in manhy different countries. Just find a server in another country. Their USA servers are fast, and can be used to tune in to Alex Jones.

The reason the libertarian movement cannot gain true power is because most of its followers do not really believe in freedom for everybody. They just pay lip service, especially Alex Jones.

Alex Jones likes to present a very simplified stereotypical view of black people. The only blacks he ever has on his shows are rappers. Who represent no one. He never speaks to any genuine people involved in the community. He never mentions, let alone interviews, any the millions of highly qualified and professional black men and women their are out there. He thinks he can get away with it because he reckons the white southern audience he hails from, is too simple to realize what he is doing. But many a lot smarter than he realizes.

White elite, have always needed to demonise blacks in every generation, as part of their wealth economic and political process. So that whites don’t care when blacks are killed, imprisoned and impoverished. The way Alex tries to portray black people, is his own Bohemian Grove ritual. His own Cremation of Care. Cremating and burning away the caring emotions of whites for others races, by numbing their consciences, through a process of demonisation.

Your going to have to up your game Alex. Alot of people are starting to see thrrugh your half truths and mis-representations. You have helped to open peoples eyes partially. But it is obvious that you do not want people, fully opened and awake. People need to pay much closer attention to what Alex Jones says. To the omissions as well as to the characterizations.

To the whites who lap up Alex’s efforts to pander to any racist leanings within them. You must understand that it is through your racism that wealthy whites control you and keep you eyes off who you should really be opposing. Alex is playing a two faced game, by pointing out the divide and rule strategy of racism and they stoking and fuelling it in his next breath. He knows racism is being used to manipulate whites, but just like the people he represents, he can’t help himself a lot of the time.

That weakness, that inability of so many whites to overcome their own racism, is why they can be so easily manipulated and distracted from an real effective action. If whites were not racist there economies would not be on the brink of collapse, because they would not have allowed their governments to spend it all, invading other countries. When whites overcome their racism, that is when they will defeat the people who are playing them for such fools. Racism is the white man’s burden. It’s rot at their core that is destroying their whole civilisation. It is why they cannot mount a credible defence against Globalism, or have any real revolution. You cannot get justice for your self until you strive for justice for all.

If you think these words are racist you are a misguided. Can’t you see that the ultimate peace offering black people can give to a white people, is to hold a mirror up to them. To help them to heal so they you can become awake enough to defeat the evil among them. This is what the powers that be never want to happen. This is what they truly deeply fear. That blacks and whites will cross the racial chasm, not sexually, but spiritually. This is the kind of unity blacks and whites are going to have to learn. Not shallow, but deep racial unity that respects all races right to exist and thrive. Whites need to heal from the corruption of their spirits. Just as much as blacks need to heal from the devastation of oppression.

It’s does not feel nice to be told you are a racist. But for whites, understanding how your divine destiny has been so thoroughly and deliberately corrupted, by temping you to perceive blacks in a hateful way, is the first step in your true and lasting liberation. Whites must over come the evil of racism, that has been placed within their spirits, if they want to defeat the evil devouring their world.

God is waiting to see if whites are worth saving. Can whites achieve a state of grace. Or should they be allowed to destroy themselves. That is the question God is putting to them now.
Make no mistake this is a white dilemma, because the current state of the world is their doing. That’s just the era we are in. Every single white person on the planet, needs to look long and hard at them self in the mirror while listening to their conscience, before the hate that exist among them, overwhelms them.

So does this mean that before long, these social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, ect. will be classified as “terrorist organizations”? Thus making every member of those sites “terrorists”?
