A survey of weapon depots in Libya shows that up to 20,000 shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles are now missing, partly because President Barack Obama has refused to send troops to guard the weapons depots, according to a left-of-center advocate.

“We were quite disappointed after talking to administration officials … that nothing more was done, even about the [storage] facilities in Tripoli, which are unsecured now,” said Peter Bouckaert, director of emergencies at left-of-centre group Human Rights Watch.

‘“The major impediment [to action] is that the administration doesn’t want ‘boots on the ground,’” he said.

  1. This looks like an excuse to send in US/Nato ground troops.
The story is obviously a lie. This sh*t was also on Nightline.
If these missles were real and still operational, you would think
at least one plane would have been shoot down. Really, how many thousands
of bombing raids did the US/NATO committ.

    • Boys… boys… boys… WTF is the matter with you all??? This is another cover for the “disapperance” of lots of thousands of dollars worth of armament into the hands of our own al-CIAda for use where??? We here on the ground will not know until the shooting starts, and then there is “plausable deniability” on the grounds of “we don’t know” who the phuck they got them (weapons) from. Gawd I love this country!!! If only we could get our hands on say a hundred or so of those little pleasures we could hold off the blue-hats for a week.

      Does anyone know an importer???

  2. It’s funny because I read that there were dozens of these anti-aircraft missiles missing, now it’s reported that there are about 20,000. Not only that, we apparently know where they are being held – some secret storage facility in Sudan. Why don’t we just bomb the piss out of this location? Or am I making too much sense? †

  3. This a either a hoax or a cointelpro disinformation campaign. If Libya had this many anti-aircraft missiles and if they are really worth their salt in effectiveness, why didn’t Libya use it against the NATO aircraft?

    • Good point! I don’t think I can recall hearing about a single NATO(North Atlantic Terrorist Organization) aircraft loss. So they either A:Suck or B:Don’t exist.
