Valcucine, seen on Designboom/Promo image
Designboom shows a new freestanding kitchen design by Dutch architect Wiel Arets, in collaboration with design icon Alessi, built by Valcucine, our Best of Green kitchen for 2010. The clean white lines and detailing make it look like Dieter Rams might have been involved too.
Made entirely from glacier white Corian®, the freestanding furniture has a unified appearance as the flush lower cabinets merge into the wrapped rounded countertop and integrated sink, all of which is held together by a hidden joint system. to save space, the upper storage area has sliding doors with an inset pull.
