A WOMAN has died in hospital after suffering a gunshot wound at a recreational shooting facility in Sydney’s south west.
The 33-year-old female was shot at the centre in Elizabeth Drive, Cecil Park, about 1.45pm on Saturday, police said.
She was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition and died a short time later.
Police said they have talked to a number of witnesses and investigations are continuing.
The incident isn’t being treated as suspicious.
A spokeswoman for the Sydney International Shooting Centre in Cecil Park declined to comment on the incident.
