Anti-Semitic white racist to be executed for killing three people

A jury has recommended that 74-year-old white supremacist Frazier Glenn Miller, Jr. receive the death penalty for the anti-Semitic motivated murder of three people.

On April 13, 2014, Miller shot a 69-year-old man and his 14-year-old grandson outside a Jewish Community Center and moments later shot a 53-year-old woman in the parking lot of a nearby Jewish retirement community. For these murders, a jury in Johnson County, Kansas, found Miller guilty of capital murder. He was also found guilty of three counts of attempted first-degree murder for shooting at other people and for firing numerous bullets and shotgun blasts into the Jewish community center.

Miller targeted his murder victims in the mistaken belief that they were Jewish; none of them were. During his trial Miller admitted to the killings, saying he thought he was killing Jews. He expressed no remorse and requested no forgiveness. He told the jury that his father instilled in him the idea that Jewish people were seeking to destroy the white race. He chose to represent himself at his trial; however, a court-appointed standby attorney was available to assist him.

According to the Kansas City Star, Miller said his only option was armed revolution and that he considers himself a martyr who hopes to die with a smile on his lips.
