A 62-year-old Australian man has died while visiting Gallipoli.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has confirmed the death of the man.
DFAT would not confirm that the man had been trekking in the area with his son when he died.
She said consular officials were providing assistance to family members in Turkey and Australia.
