The army’s Black Hawk helicopters have resumed full flying duties after they were suspended from non-essential tasks.
The suspension began on April 24 after one of the fleet’s 34 helicopters had to make a precautionary landing in Papua New Guinea with an engine fault.
The fault was isolated to that one incident, the department said in a statement on Monday.
