PEAK hour drivers face long delays on Melbourne’s Eastern Freeway at Donvale after a person was found dead on the road.
The outbound lanes between Blackburn and Springvale roads are closed while police investigate the incident.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the body was discovered at 8am and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
The traffic is being diverted at Blackburn Rd.
Commuters have been warned to be patient with long delays expected.
