A Canberra woman is set to be extradited to Queensland over the alleged murder of a Gold Coast man.
A 30-year-old man from Coombabah died late last month at Southport Hospital after a serious assault.
Queensland Police were called to an Woomera Crescent, Southport, address at 11.45pm (AEST) on April 28 following reports of a violent argument.
ACT police have charged a 35-year-old woman from Kaleen with murder and taken her into custody.
She will face ACT magistrates Court on Thursday morning, where Queensland detectives will officially seek her extradition to the sunshine state.
A 35-year-old Southport man has faced Southport Magistrates Court charged with murder over the same incident.
