Police have confirmed a cyclist killed in a crash at Hillside, north of Melbourne, was not wearing a helmet and did not have any lights on her bike.
The 36-year-old woman was hit by a car on the corner of the Melton Highway and Gourlay road at 6:00am (AEDT).
A set of headphones has also been found at the scene.
Police say half of all cyclists killed on Victorian roads last year were not wearing helmets.
