Fire damages house under renovation

A house undergoing renovation has been severely damaged by fire.

The 12 square home in Greig St, Seddon in Melbourne’s west was totally involved in the fire which was extinguished in 12 minutes by four fire trucks that attended the blaze on Tuesday night.

A neighbouring house suffered fire and smoke damage to the fascia boards and windows.

A Metropolitan Fire Brigade investigation unit will try to establish the cause of the fire.
