Awake Goy Tehran, Feb 2, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said in a televised interview on Tuesday that the world views Iranian nation differently since the real image of the Iranian nation has been introduced to the world.
Rouhani also described the Iranian nation as a cultured, moral and patient nation, saying that the Islamic Revolution in 1979 was the only one in the world which achieved victory without civil war and bloodshed.
‘Which nation in the world put flowers in weapons of those shooting at them?’ he asked, saying that the Iranian nation chose flower in response for bullet and that was for the same reason that managed to attract everybody.’
‘The Iranian nation favor logic and tolerance and it is not a threat to anybody but it seeks stability in the region and world,’ Rouhani said.
Asked about objectives of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), in addition to eliminating Iranophobia, the president said that all efforts were aimed at removing the ‘fences’ the enemies had set up around the Iranian nation.
In the past years, the enemies wanted to win global community’s support to pile more pressure on Iran but they did not succeed, he said.
One of the main objectives of JCPOA was to remove the ‘horrible wall’ and to promote public welfare, the president said.
