Shots fired at car in Brisbane’s north

A shot has been fired at a car in Brisbane’s north on the same day as a motorist reported seeing a man in a stolen vehicle brandishing a gun on the Gateway Motorway.

Police are appealing to the public to come forward with information about suspicious behaviour in Bracken Ridge after the shot was fired at car at the intersection of Quinlan and Burgess streets at 5.45pm yesterday.

Police found what appeared to be a bullet hole in the car.

Yesterday afternoon, a motorist on the Gateway Motorway at Boondall also reported seeing a driver with what appeared to be a gun.

The man was in a stolen blue Audi sedan with the registration 772-KBG.

Police are seeking information from anyone who may have seen the car.
