State Department To Put 80% of all Countries on Do Not Travel List Due to COVID-19

By Jesse Smith

The US State Department is planning to issue Level 4: Do Not Travel advisories to around 80% of all countries due to coronavirus.

The press release from the Office of the Spokesperson states:

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to pose unprecedented risks to travelers. In light of those risks, the Department of State strongly recommends US citizens reconsider all travel abroad.

The memo goes on to indicate that the updated advisory is due to increased reliance on epidemiological assessments from the CDC, not the actual health situation of individual countries, stating:

This does not imply a reassessment of the current health situation in a given country, but rather reflects an adjustment in the State Department’s Travel Advisory system to rely more on CDC’s existing epidemiological assessments.

Measures like this do not help instill confidence in COVID-19 “vaccines” and seem to demonstrate they are not worth their salt. If they adequately protected one from infection and transmission (which vaccines are supposed to do) then travel restrictions would be pointless. Instead, this Level 4 advisory seems like a convenient way to lock down the population right before the summer vacation season by strongly discouraging travel abroad.
