Traffic returns to normal at Karuah

All lanes of the Pacific Highway at Karuah have now been reopened, after a truck accident this morning.

Traffic is flowing normally, following the salvage of a gas tanker which had overturned at the Swan Bay road intersection.

Both northbound and southbound lanes were closed at different times throughout the morning and early afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene about 12.20am this morning after the tanker rolled.

The truck was carrying non flammable liquid gas.
