FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Two men charged with drug and firearm offences after a series of raids in Melbourne’s west have been denied bail.
Elli Estampador, 40, from Wyndham Vale and Rabieh Haddara, 25, from Essendon faced an out-of-court sessions hearing on Thursday night.
Police prosecutor Detective Senior Constable Joshua Tink told the court phone intercepts of Haddara revealed he was involved in daily drug trafficking, arranging sales of firearms and getting associates to collect drug money on his behalf.
Sen Const Tink said Haddara would blow off $25,000 on stays in Melbourne’s Crown Metropol hotel.
He said Estampador allegedly supplied the drugs to Haddara.
Estampador was arrested in Werribee in a car with $10,195 in cash, both believed to be proceeds of crime.
He was also found with a quantity of methylamphetamine.
The co-accused both ran a mechanical repairs business in Sunshine West where drugs were also found, Sen Const Tink said.
Haddara was charged with three counts of trafficking methylamphetamine and nine firearm offences.
Estampador was charged with one count of possessing methylamphetamine, two counts of trafficking a commercial quantity of the drug and one count of dealing with property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.
The co-accused were both arrested on Thursday after police from the Santiago Taskforce raided nine properties and made eight arrests as part of a long-running investigation into firearm and drug trafficking.
Detective Inspector Stephen Denis of the Santiago group said the guns recovered in Thursday’s raids included two pen pistols and two sawn-off shotguns.
Police also found two stolen cars, two stolen motorcycles, an assortment of car parts and a 25cm crocodile captured in an Essendon flat that remains in custody.
The two men will face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday.
