Why must animals suffer?

The American Humane Association (AHA) wants to cover the expenses of saving Frank’s life just in the nick of time; they need our help to do it. Injuries like the gunshot wound that this hound sustained costs money. He could still use your help to pay for his precious care.

Frank was found wandering the streets with a bullet wound in his left shoulder; fracturing his leg completely. A local rescue, in conjunction with animal control rescued him and got him the immediate veterinary care that he needed.

Now Frank has pins in his leg, holding it together. The canine is lucky to be alive since the bullet just missed the artery that would have taken his life for certain.

This poor hound suffered at the hands of some very cruel individual or individuals, yet he remains in good humor; optimistic and good-natured. If you ever get the opportunity to meet Frank, his tail will wag and he will lick your face clean. The dog is simply grateful to know that there are people out there that will love him and not hurt him. His needs are simple and he appreciates any care and love that he receives.

Frank has already been adopted by none other than the veterinarian that donated his services, adopted Frank and made the dog a part of his loving family. Thankfully Frank will never have to face the cruel and unusual treatment that he received earlier in his life.

Frank is not alone, however. So many animals are treated as disposable objects, not as furry family members. Why? Who knows? It is just lucky that he got his happy ending, but so many animals will not.

The fact remains though that even though Frank’s adopter was also his doctor and he donated his services, the hospital bills are another thing altogether. The AHA helps gain the support that local organizations need to help cover the costs dolefully granted to keep precious animals alive.

They rescue thousands of abused and neglected animals each year. They also help animals that are a result of disasters and cruelty. Their animal emergency funds help to pay to save and rehabilitate the innocent, adorable animals that will then have a better opportunity for locating their forever home since they were saved.

If you have any extra funds, please consider helping an organization such as the AHA. Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated! Click here to donate.
