‘Save Press TV to protect free speech’

Jana Vera Greasley said that media outlets such as Press TV report with more “honesty and clarity” than their Western counterparts on events in the UK as well as the Middle East.

“They [Press TV] are not in the stranglehold of the likes of Rupert Murdoch and the shareholders, not in any pay of corporations or going along with the agenda of some powerful shadow government body,” Greasley noted.

Ofcom, which supervises the irregularities of British media, has recently decided that it should ban Press TV from the SKY platform under the pretext that the contents of its programs in the UK are supervised by its office in Tehran.
