Dutch police on Wednesday fired warning shots in an effort to disperse a crowd, as a protest against plans to house asylum-seekers in a small town turned into a riot.
Police in Geldermalsen, near Utrecht, said via their official Twitter account they had “so far made numerous arrests, it’s is not clear yet how many”. No serious injuries were reported.
Images and videos of the incident showed dozens of youths tearing down fences, throwing beer bottles and fireworks at police, and chanting slogans against the proposed centre for asylum-seekers.
According to national broadcaster NOS, around 2,000 people joined the protest in a town of 27,000.
That is 7.4% of the town’s population (and that’s almost certainly a low-ball number).
To put that in perspective, if a riot on the same scale happened in London, it would involve 630,000 people.

This may be the beginning of some type of White Lives Matter movement.
A meeting of the town’s council to decide on whether to build the centre to house 1,500 asylum-seekers had to be halted. A regional broadcaster showed footage of the meeting being evacuated by shouting policemen as rioters sought to force their way into the building.
Police said late on Wednesday that the crowd had still not dispersed, and officers were sporadically being pelted with debris. They said the meeting would not be resumed and called on protesters to leave the town centre.

Deputy Justice Minister Klaas Dijkhoff, who oversees immigration and asylum policy, called the incident in Geldermalsen “un-Dutch.”
“Our values,” goyim. How dare you question them?
Every White country honors the value of unlimited brown people from everywhere.
For example, in the US Constitution it says:
Thou shalt do thine greatest duty and use every means at your disposal to fill thine lands with a multitude of those of a dark color, and given unto them free housing, free healthcare and a generous amount of spending money, that the glory may be to Allah and his prophet.
Fundamental. Values. Our country was founded on them. So was the Netherlands, and especially Germany.
This Riot – Where’s the Media?
The media is basically involved in a conspiracy to cover this riot up. The last thing they want is for Europeans to see 2000 normal Europeans burning down a bitch in the name of European sovereignty. This event actually happened on the 16th, but it didn’t appear in English media until a few hours ago.
The default thing to happen right now would be for all Europeans across the planet to come together, to oppose Islam, to oppose the invasion and to eventually ferret-out the fact that behind all of this there is a gigantic hooked nose. That action would be reflexive. In order to prevent it, the system must go to extraordinary lengths to shut it down.
And so you have this riot. And you will have more riots. Because there is no outlet. We are not allowed to decide. We are not allowed to have any influence whatsoever on the decision-making process. And that is an unsustainable dynamic.
