Several Arab foreign ministers will be present during the special meeting scheduled for Thursday.

“Araby and the Arab ministers will conduct consultations to form a unified Arab stance and political attitude toward the ongoing Israeli violations against the Palestinian people.

The remarks will be submitted to the council,” Arab League Deputy Secretary General Ahmed bin Haly was quoted by Al Masry Al Youm Tuesday.

In mid-September, clashes erupted between the two communities after Israeli forces raided raided the plaza of Al-Aqsa Mosque to stop alleged attempts by Palestinians to block the Mughrabi Gate, the only entrance for non-Muslims.

During the past few weeks, violence, in which dozens of people have been killed, escalated particularly after two Israelis were shot dead by Palestinians in the West Bank.
