New underwater drones able to explore and map shallow waters for mines in Belgium

On the Belgian naval base of Zeebrugge, a team of demining experts are testing the sonar capabilities of Remus, a yellow submarine-looking craft, Belgium’s new tool in hunt for mines. The underwater drone called Remus is able to explore and map shallow waters where conventional ships cannot go.
