Scene of the latest murder

(Scroll down for video) Police have linked additional killings to a previous murder of a Jewish store in owner in Brooklyn, New York, according to news media reports.

An elderly store owner who was fatally shot in the head at his shop in Brooklyn, New York, on Saturday was officially linked to two similar murders during the summer, police said.

Bullets that hit Vahidipour Rahmatolla, 78, inside his shop in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, matched two crime scenes where store owners had been found dead, police said.

Police were called to Rahmatolla’s store, She She Inc. located on Flatbush Avenue, around 7:19 Friday evening, police said. Investigators believe that the murderer shot Rahmatolla of Great Neck, Long Island behind the counter and dragged him 10 feet to the rear of the store, where he covered the body with clothing.
The motive seems similar to the previous killings.

On July 6, Mohammed Gebeli, 65, was killed in his shop, Valentino Fashion Inc. in the Bay Ridge

section of Brooklyn, while On August 2, Isaac Kadare, 59, who owned Amazing 99 Cent Offers, was found murdered in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn.

The two men had been shot with a .22 caliber and their bodies were covered with clothes.
The murderer took cash from both victims. It was not immediately clear if anything had been taken from Rahmatolla.

Police sources described the murderer as careful and methodical as surveillance cameras were not present in any of the three stores.
