Okay, Greater Cleveland! Okay, Ohio!

I want to know! Where is your line in the sand?
What crimes are you willing to let cops get away with?
At what point are YOU willing to say, “THAT’S ENOUGH!”

Are you okay with cops committing traffic infractions at will? Or is that too petty for you to concern yourself with? It seems there is some debate. Some people are okay with cops getting away with small things, others say it leads to bigger things!

Where do you stand? Greater Cleveland Cop Block wants to know!

It is our opinion that if you let cops get away with petty offenses and let them violate our civil rights on even a small scale, the average ego is going to take advantage. They will reach farther and farther to see how much they can get away with – just like a child that pushes it’s boundaries with its parents on what it can get away with.

The cop is going to say to himself, “Hey, I got away with that! I guess I could do that again!” It will then progress to become, “I wonder what else I can get away with?” eventually becoming, “I AM INVINCIBLE! I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT TO THESE SCUMBAGS! ROOOAAAARRRRRR!”

It is completely legal, by court decision, to flip off a cop – but they still don’t get it! They still want to pull people over and harass them over it. Open carrying a firearm, at least in Ohio, is a legal activity, same as flipping off cops. Cops continue to harass people for this legally protected freedom, and they have a bad attitude about it when they do it.

You can see any number of videos where the officer makes condescending remarks to people exercising their rights. How do you think the cop came to believe he had that moral high ground? It’s because he has been allowed to get away with it his whole career. No one ever told them what they were doing is wrong! At times, I’m sure, they were revered by colleagues for it! If not, at the very least, they were supported by them!

Flipping off a cop is not a practice we at Greater Cleveland Cop Block condone. It’s not something I personally do. I do not go riding around in my neighborhood looking for cops to flip off. On the other hand, if a cop is interacting with me, and he tries to tell me something I KNOW is bullshit, he’s going to get the JERSEY BIRD! If he is texting on his phone while in his cruiser and he starts drifting into my lane? He’s getting the single digit salute – the finger! In fact, if he’s playing with anything in the car and is not paying attention, SAY HELLO TO MY MIDDLE FRIEND!

As far as Greater Cleveland Cop Block and DEO is concerned, it’s all abuse of power. If I can be punished for it, so should they! From parking violations to murder, including all civil rights violations! No victim, no crime!

So, what’s your line in the sand? We want to know!
