Amnesty International report slams Australia on Aboriginal, asylum-seeker policies
The Australian – Aboriginal people are effectively forced to abandon their homelands to access essential services, Amnesty International says in its annual report released today. The federal govenment’s policies which limit funding on housing, water and sanitation services for Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory have been strongly criticised by the human rights watchdog.
