Another Beheading? Let’s Get Mikey!

Another beheading claims our attention. My reflex is to pass it by Scott Creighton, whom I think of as “Mikey” in the old cereal TV commercial:

The day “Mikey” will “like” a beheading, I’ll pay attention.

Peter Kassig – The Hasty Distraction of the Latest “ISIS” Beheading Video
is the tile of his analysis of this latest beheading, in which he says,

… “the “interwebs” are ablaze with the story of yet another fake “ISIS” beheading video. They can add this one to the growing inglorious list:

This one doesn’t even bother with a recorded statement from the victim nor does it purport to show the “terrorist’ hacking away at his neck with no blood being produced. There is no fake body on the ground “money shot” either. Instead, there is simply the fake head prop lying at the feet of the MI6 agent pretending to be the “ISIS” terrorist.
As usual, the New York Times finds a way to lie even about this ridiculous hastily hammered together distraction video.

None of the previous fake beheading videos included the actual beheading. That’s just an outright lie. That’s why people are told if they watch the video, “ISIS wins”
They didn’t even take the time to try to craft a plausible sounding reason for this beheading. In the video the “terrorist” simply says he did it because Obama “lied” about leaving Iraq.
Now, it is possible that this one was crafted to coincide with the new push for more “boots on the ground” in Iraq helping the Maliki run death-squads round up and kill more Sunnis.
But honestly, giving the fact that the image was released the other day and all the MSM are doing what they can to suppress that story, I feel this one was cobbled together on the fly and they didn’t have time to retrieve the “victim” from whatever black-op mission he’s on at the moment. That would be my guess anyway.
And oh yeah, the victim, Peter Kassig, just happens to be another former ranger who turned into an “aid worker” based out of Turkey who supposedly was helping victims of the Syrian destabilization campaign. What that translates to is he was helping the destabilization assets in Syria via a for-profit NGO he probably set up or simply worked for.
