Peter Nolan The Fox News reported on May 15, 2013, that a bowler from Florida accidentally shot himself at the Jupiter Lanes Bowling Alley located on Maplewood Drive, Florida on Tuesday.

Jupiter Police Officer Adam Brown said that his pistol accidentally discharged while bowling, according to a source.
He was immediately escorted to St. Mary’s Medical Center, confirms the Palm Beach Post. The injuries he suffered are non-life-threatening. Watch video.
The witness said he had the gun in his pocket. While he was swinging the ball back to bowl, the ball struck the pistol and the bullet went straight into his leg. The other players got afraid.
The Fox News quoted one of the witnesses Jim Miller, who told the station that, “The guy just stepped up to bowl. I think he hit his leg on his back swing.”
Carrying a licensed pistol for self defense is a right act. But one should be cautious enough while carrying it. We hope he gets recovered soon.
