“The Worm,” as Dennis is affectionately called, was out and about in Los Angeles when TMZ caught up to him and grilled him about his August return trip to the DPRK.
When asked about his tweet Tuesday, which was directed towards Jong-Un, with an appeal for Bae’s release, Rodman had this to say:
“I’m gonna try and get the guy out. It’s gonna be difficult.”
He shunned rumors that he is trying to be the American’s government’s unofficial diplomat, stating that he doesn’t condone politics. However, it’s not every day that a 6-9 former basketball player, known for his flamboyance on and off the court, travels to an isolated country to chat with a war-mongering leader.
Then, a salvo was opened and Dennis unleashed a scud missile response to a question about President Obama
“Rodman rips Obama” may not sound like an appropriate headline. In fact, it sounds like an under characterization of Dennis’ true feelings about the prez and his refusal to talk with the North Korean leader up to this point.
“Obama? F**k him!” Rodman exclaimed.
Obviously, the former “Celebrity Apprentice” reality TV star has no love for the POTUS that’s bubbling up like boiling liquid. Imagine that?
“I’m not a diplomat, man, I’m just trying to go over there. But I’m going to do one thing for you. We got a black president can’t even go talk to him, how about that one? … I’ll put it like this, Obama can’t do s**t. I don’t know why he won’t do it. So do that bulls**t.”
If a lay person lobs an F-bomb at the president, it falls off like water down a duck’s back. However, when a celebrity like Dennis — good, bad or indifferent — rips Obama, it gets his attention.
