FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda The court in The Hague said on Tuesday that Raymond Valentino Poeteray, 61, passed confidential documents to the Russian Federation during several years, concerning mainly political and military matters in the European Union and NATO.
“There were state secrets in some of the documents and the Netherlands’ and its allies’ interests were endangered,” read the court ruling.
The court continued by saying Poeteray acted purely out of financial interest, as he reportedly earned 72,200 euros (USD 93,000) between 2009 and August 2011 from handing over documents to Russia.
The consular worker was arrested at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport in 2012, as he was boarding a flight to Bangkok, Thailand.
At the arrest, law enforcement officers found four USB sticks containing sensitive information, which he was allegedly going to hand over during a transit stop in Vienna.
He became a suspect after German police raided a Russian couple’s home, who were allegedly Poeteray’s handlers.
Poeteray pleaded not guilty to the charges and refused to testify during the trial.
Prior to the arrest, Poeteray had been working for Dutch Foreign Affairs since 1978.
