The fire is still about 8km south of Northcliffe. Containment lines have been established however south-south-easterly winds will test these tomorrow and there is an ongoing risk of the fire escaping.
There remains a possible threat to lives and homes if the fire escapes and spreads north.
Fire fighters are continuing to strengthen containment lines along Windy Harbour, Florence and Chesapeake Rds.

A bushfire ADVICE remains in place for people in the following areas in the Shire of Manjimup.
People living in areas including Shannon, Broke Inlet, the coastal area between Gardner River, Broke Inlet and propertites east of Shannon are being asked to stay alert and monitor the situation.
Bushfire behaviour
The bushfire escaped containment lines Sunday afternoon, but it is now completely contained by newly established control lines. There is still significant activity within containment lines which may pose a risk for further escapes on Tuesday.
The fire has burnt through about 27,000ha, and the total area within containment lines is about 38,000ha.
Winds are forecast to strengthen from the south-south-east at 25-35kmh. Homes south of Northcliffe may be impacted by the fire if containment lines are breached and you need to keep up to date.
Smoke from the bushfire has been drifting in a north-westerly direction today, and is currently moving more in a northerly direction under the influence of southerly winds. Smoke may affect visibility along the west coast from Augusta to Bunbury and in areas further inland. Smoke will reduce visibility on the Brockman, Southwest and Vasse highways and along major feeder routes in these areas.
Motorists are advised to slow down and drive carefully, switch vehicle lights on and be aware of emergency services personnel in the area.
