EUROPEAN stock markets have posted strong gains, with London’s FTSE 100 index of leading shares climbing 0.35 per cent to end at 6,330.49 points.
In Frankfurt the DAX 30 index jumped 1.08 per cent on Monday to close at 8,215.73 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 soared 1.54 per cent to finish at 3,863.66 points.
