At least 150 Palestinians have lost their lives and 1,200 others have been injured as the Tel Aviv regime continues its deadly strikes against the besieged Gaza Strip.
On the eighth consecutive day of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces pounded the impoverished coastal enclave from air, ground and sea, killing more Palestinians.
In the latest offensive, Israeli jets also hit the office of Agence France-Presse (AFP) in Gaza city killing one person.
It is the third time in the past few days that the media tower, which is also a civilian complex, comes under attack.
Several other media buildings in the Gaza Strip have also been targeted in a fresh wave of Israeli aerial raids on the coastal enclave.
Six more Palestinians including a toddler have also been killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza city.
In northern Gaza’s Saftawi, three members of a family were killed when their house came under attack.
Israeli warplanes also conducted fresh air raids on the southern city of Rafah.
The Israeli regime has intensified its violent offensive on the Gaza Strip despite Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s expression of hope for a ceasefire.
Israel’s Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Benny Gantz said on Wednesday that Tel Aviv will continue its attacks on Gaza despite ongoing truce talks.
The Egyptian-mediated ceasefire was initially expected to go into effect at 2200 GMT on Tuesday, but it was delayed until Wednesday because the Israeli regime has not yet responded to a proposal by Hamas.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military said on Tuesday that it had attacked Gaza 1,450 times during its war on the enclave.
