On Monday, August 26, Google+ users are discussing this year’s Video Music Awards or VMAs.
The annual VMAs took place on Sunday, August 25, and featured performances from Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake and many other international stars.
Timberlake also caused a massive buzz after the pop star was joined on stage by members of his former boyband NSYNC.
The big winners of this year’s awards, which aim to honor the best in the medium of music videos, were Justin Timberlake’s “Mirrors” (Video of the Year), Bruno Mars‘s “Locked Out Of Heaven” (Best Male Video) and Taylor Swift‘s “I Knew You Were Trouble” (Best Female Video).
Other winners included Selena Gomez, who took home the award for “Best Pop Video” for her song “Come & Get It,” and Pink, who won “Best Collaboration” for her song “Just Give Me A Reason,” which featured Nate Ruess.
Also trending on Google+ is the hit TV show “Breaking Bad,” which follows the life of chemistry teacher Walter White who, after being diagnosed with cancer, turns to making meth in order to support his family after his death. The latest episode of the show, now in its fifth season, was titled “Confessions” and saw some truths emerge that Walter White would rather have kept hidden from his partner Jesse.
