Houthis have detained 11 members of the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Islah Party in Yemen’s Al-Hudaydah province, eyewitnesses have said.
“Houthi militants raided an Islah party office in northern Al-Hudaydah and detained 11 party members,” one eyewitness told.
He linked the raid to a massive rally held in the province on Monday which the Houthis accuse the party of having organized.
There has been no comment on the reports by either the Houthi leadership or the Islah party.
Since it seized Sanaa last September, the Houthi group has confiscated several of the Islah party’s offices and has reportedly raided party offices in other parts of the country as well.
