According to IRIB World Service, following this meeting, the Iranian energy minister, in an address to reporters, emphasized the establishment of the third power line between Iran and Armenia, and referred to this issue as their talking point.
The Iranian energy minister underlined that with the implementation of this project, the capacity for transference of energy between Iran and Armenia will be bolstered.
He also said that decision has been made for construction of two hydroelectric power stations on the two sides of Aras River.
Meanwhile, the Armenian minister, for his part, said there are no barriers in regard to implementation of these two projects, and the two parties are indomitably resolved to implement these projects as soon as possible.
He reminded that execution of these projects trebles the current rate of exchange of electricity between Iran and Armenia.
