According to IRIB World Service, in an interview published with the Tehran-based daily E’temad, which has been published in this daily’s Monday edition, this Iranian official pointed out that a number of investors from Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, India, Japan, and France have visited Iran in the recent weeks to negotiate over investments in Iran’s energy sector, including the petrochemical industry.
He went on to note that Chabahar Port in Sistan-Baluchestan Province, in southeastern Iran, has raised a golden opportunity for foreign companies, especially Indian organizations, for investment.
