According to IRIB World Service, she passed away in one of the hospitals of Tehran on Saturday night at the age of 89.
Iran’s Judiciary Chief, Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani, in a message, forwarded his condolences on the sad demise of the Leader’s venerable sister, while wishing patience for the bereaved family members.
The Chairman of the Assembly of Experts, Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi, the Custodian of the Holy Shrine of Founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace), Hojjatoleslam Hassan Khomeini, Majlis Speaker, Ali Larijani, the Cabinet members and several Islamic Republic of Iran military officials, in separate messages, forwarded their heartfelt condolences to the Leader of Islamic Revolution on the demise of the Leader’s venerable sister.
