Iranians promote health week

A mass of about 7,000 senior citizens from across the capital city gathered and explained their different daily exercise routines to make sure they have a clean slate of health.

The senior participants of the event also stressed on the health benefits and importance of both, exercising and health check-ups to vitality and great health.

“I exercise daily; exercising is great for the body, mind and soul. If I do not exercise one day, I feel uncoordinated and out of synch. I exercise one hour daily jogging especially, because I have diabetes.” Says one of the senior citizens, participating the event.

Tehrani citizens, both Junior and senior, face the crucial problem of the air pollution in the populated capital of Iran.

Many of the participants in the event, say that they drink large amounts of water to replenish their body and also do routine exercises in parks, such as, walking, stretching and jogging, to reclaim their health and to maintain their cardiovascular exercise and a long lasting healthy heart as well.
