According to Fars News Agency, the volume of Iran’s exports stood at almost $12 bln in spring and the country imported over $12 bln of goods in the same period.
A report by Iran’s Customs Organization said earlier this month Iran exported approximately $8.154 bln of non-oil commodities in the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21- May 21).
Iran’s non-oil trade in the first two month of the current Iranian year totaled $15.824 bln, out of which $ 8.154 bln were exported goods and the rest $7.688 bln were imported items.
Iran’s non-oil exports rose 27.22 and 29.18 percent respectively in terms of weight and value comparing to similar period last year.
Iran’s non-oil trade rose 31.8 percent in the two months comparing to similar period last year.
Out of the whole non-oil exports, $3.30 bln were gas condensations, $1.991 bln were petrochemical products and $3.132 bln were other goods.
In April, a customs office report said that Iran’s trade balance with 83 world countries surpassed $92 bln last year.
The report said Iran’s imports of non-oil goods amounted to $50.818 bln last year.
