on Thursday Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians in the eastern town of Azzoun in Qalqilya after carrying out raids on their homes, beating and forcing them to completely take off their clothes, the Palestinian WAFA news agency reported.
Israeli troops also captured the three other Palestinians in the town of Dahrieh, south of al-Khalil and raided several other houses in that area.
According to Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics and prisoner advocacy groups, there are currently over 6,000 Palestinian prisoners, including legislators, in Israeli jails, many of whom have been rounded up without charge or trial. Independent sources put the number of the inmates at 11,000.
