David Schulberg According to Palestine Information Center, eye-witnesses said that the Zionist Israeli troops deployed in military watchtowers along the border fence in Eastern Gaza opened heavy machine gun fire on Palestinian farmers and homes.
The targeted farmers were forced to backtrack from their planted lands and cease the cultivation chores for fear of further escalation.
No injuries have been reported so far.
The Israeli regime has been ceaselessly breaching the Cairo-brokered ceasefire accord signed with Palestinian resistance factions in the wake of last summer’s aggression on the blockaded Gaza Strip.
