Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky (1817-1900) was a prolific Russian Romantic painter who completed over 6,000 pieces in his lifetime, many of which are seascapes. He was the main painter of the Russian navy and closely connected to the elite of the Russian Empire. Included in this small gallery are some of his great seacapes, along with some landscapes, battle scenes, (((religious))) scenes, and more.
