Awake Goy 2016 has been an excellent year for US politics; in fact, it’s been one of the best years for the masses to see through the veil that’s been blinding us ever since the super-delegate program was put into place decades ago. There are about 400 pledged delegates divided by primary and caucus results, but there are an additional 700 super delegates and they can vote against the people’s will to ensure nominees are handpicked party insiders. A single vote from one of these super delegates is worth the same amount as thousands from the average person. Doesn’t seem fair, does it? Many of these people are former and current members of Congress, and dozens more are corporate lobbyists for major corporations like Pfizer. This process completely undermines democracy.
Not only that, US politics is completely, one hundred percent, dominated by corporate and financial interests. No presidential candidate would ever tell you this, but Bernie Sanders did. He stated in-front of the entire nation that:
“Let me tell you something that no other candidate for president will tell you, and that is, no matter who is elected to be president, that person will not be able to address the enormous problems facing the working families of our country. They will not be able to succeed because the power of corporate America, the power of Wall Street, the power of campaign donors is so great that no president alone can stand up to them. That is the truth. People may be uncomfortable about hearing it, but that is the reality.” (Video of him saying this)
North American politics is not democratic and voting gives us the illusion of choice. With all of the recent Wikileaks revelations, it’s clear that US politics is rigged. President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, also told American journalists to wake up and realize what’s going on, amongst many others.
Even as far back as as the Early 19th century, John F. Hylan, who was the mayor of New York City from 1918-1925 stated that:
The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government, which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation . . . The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both parties . . . [and] control the majority of the newspapers and magazines in this country. They use the columns of these papers to club into submission or drive out of office public officials who refuse to do the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible government. It operates under cover of a self-created screen [and] seizes our executive officers, legislative bodies, schools, courts, newspapers and every agency created for the public protection. So Why Did Bernie Sanders Endorse Hillary Clinton?
In an interview with Australian journalist John Pilge, who is currently working on a documentary about Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks, Assange stated:
“Look, I think—you know, we know how politics works in the United States. Whoever—whatever political party gets into government is going to merge with the bureaucracy pretty damn fast. It will be in a position where it has some levers in its hand. And Bernie Sanders was an independent candidate trying to get the nomination through the Democratic Party and if you ask me he did get the nomination, but he was threatened to drop out.”
It was reported by anonymous, and originally on usuncut.news. We are still searching for the original source, but thought this was noteworthy . Here is an interview with Pilger and Assange, but it’s an old one. We thought it would be worthy to share given the fact that Assange has stated, what seems to be quite obvious now, that US elections are completely rigged. The idea of Bernie Sanders being threatened is not so far fetched.
According to Assange, via usuncut, Bernie Sanders was threatened. Welcome to the reality of US politics. It makes absolutely no sense as to why Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary Clinton, especially after exposing so much about her, and after classified documents were released exposing so much of her war mongering tactics.
That’s Probably Why He Didn’t Endorse Jill Stein
What Sanders should have done, and he probably knows it, is Endorse Jill Stein, but the last thing the ruling elite wants is more attention brought to Jill Stein. She is currently the Green Party’s presumptive presidential nominee for the 2016 election. Her statement echoes the words of many others in pervious years, including Theodore Roosevelt, who also told the world that “presidents are selected, not elected.”
She says:
This is kind of what many people have foreseen all along, it was kind of in the cards, the democratic machine has very steeply tilted the playing field from the beginning by limiting the debates, limiting the exposure of Bernie Sanders, some very questionable election practices, 100,000 voters disappearing from the rolls in Brooklyn, some very questionable things that happened in the democratic primary in California. . . . Needless to say, the super delegates have massively tipped the playing field, and the announcement the night before by major news organizations that Hillary Clinton had already clinched it — hard to call that just a coincidence . . . This is what the Democratic Party has done for decades, many decades. (source)
