Blair: Do not blame 2003 Iraq invasion for Isis

Tony Blair yesterday rejected claims that the current unstability in Iraq was the result of military action to topple Saddam Hussein in 2003.
Instead the former Prime Minister said the violent insurgency was the”predictable” consquence of the West’s failure to intervene in Syria.
Mr Blair’s intervention in the debate comes amid international moves to tackle the up rising by Islamist extremists and deal with its humanitarian consequences.
