Manhunt under way for ram-raiders

A manhunt is under way for a gang wanted over 25 ram-raids around Brisbane and the Gold Coast in the past four days.

Police patrols and dog squads are scouring streets for three men who dumped a car in the Logan suburb of Crestmead, south of Brisbane, on Friday morning.

Police believe the vehicle was used in a number of ram-raids overnight.

No streets have been closed, or emergencies declared, but the area is saturated with police.

After ram-raids on businesses at Wynnum and Archerfield another seven raids were made on the Gold Coast between 1.55am (AEST) and 3.30am on Friday.

It’s believed the raids are linked to a rampage on July 16 in the Logan area when 16 businesses were targeted.
