An elderly man had his arm broken during a dispute over a carpark space when he and his wife were assaulted by two men.
The 78-year-old man and his wife, 74, were set upon at Melbourne’s Preston Shopping Centre cark park last month.
The couple was confronted by two men in a silver vehicle during a spat over a car park space in Wood Street, police say.
The man was taken to Austin Hospital for treatment; his wife sustained bruising to her shoulder.
The offenders fled after the attack, which occurred on April 24 just after 11am (AEST).
One man is described as being of Asian appearance, in his 40s, 160cm tall, with a solid build and wearing a hat.
The second offender is described as Caucasian, in his mid 30s, 170cm tall, of thin build with short spiky hair. He was wearing a grey coat.
