The Pentagon has recouped nearly $300 million in alleged overpayments to a Swiss company that feeds U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

But Congress wants more. It wants Supreme Foodservice to refund more than $750 million.

Supreme is appealing the demand.

Military dependents and retirees face sharp jump in medical costs

Defense officials plan to charge higher co-pays for medicines starting this fall.

The price hikes would nearly double the price for some prescriptions starting Oct. 1. Co-pays would then rise every year through at least 2017.

A soldier charged with murdering five comrades in Iraq has reportedly struck a plea deal sparing him from a possible death penalty
