A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murder following the discovery of two bodies in the Perth suburb of Girrawheen.
Police found the body of a 37-year-old man after being called to Danbury Crescent on Wednesday afternoon.
Less than an hour later, police found a 31-year-old woman’s body at a home one street away on Arnos Way.
The deaths were immediately treated as suspicious and early on Friday, police said they had charged the 36-year-old man with two counts of murder.
It is understood the man was the husband of the woman and had been friends with the dead man for many years, being training partners at kickboxing.
The charged man will appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court later on Friday.
