NFL to announce full 2013 regular season schedule on Thursday night

The NFL is set to announce the full 2013 regular season schedule and it is going to happen on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 8:00 p.m. ET. League spokesman Greg Aiello made the announcement on his Twitter account on Tuesday, April 16, 2013.

“2013 regular-season schedule will be announced at 8 pm ET on Thursday (April 18).”

The Baltimore Ravens will indeed open up the season on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, as the Super Bowl champions. One difference this year is that they Super Bowl champion on the road due to a scheduling conflict with the Baltimore Orioles.

A compromise could not be met between the two Baltimore teams, the NFL, and Major League Baseball to have the Ravens open the season at home. Experts believe that the Ravens will open up against either the Denver Broncos or New England Patriots.
